With the introduction of iOS 12 at WWDC 2018, Apple has included a new feature which allows you to scan QR code on iPhone in a hassle-free manner.

The delivery app used with the scanners was conceived and programmed by the in-house team at Hermes. The centerpiece is a simply designed, multilingual interface that increases the ease-of-use compared to old devices.

QR Code and Barcode Reader is perhaps the most comprehensive app when it comes to reading barcodes. Using this app is very simple, all you need to do is point your computer webcam on a code and the details will show immediately at the bottom of the app bar. QR Code and Barcode Reader, as its name suggests also offers the possibility to read codes located on images and even save them in the “Catalog” if you need to use them later. You can also scan codes from images stored on your device.

Recognizing barcodes from images is simple: all you need to do is click on BarcodeLabelsScanner.exe to launch the app, choose your barcode type in your scanning image, then click on the button “Load Barocd Image” to open your reading image. The software will scan the image, and display the barcode value in the bottom text box.
