Palm vein scans are seen as more accurate and secure than other biometric methods such as iris, face, fingerprint or voice recognition. (Fujitsu has sold vein-scanning technology – first commercialized by Hitachi in 2005 – for around a decade, and includes banks, universities and healthcare providers among its customers.)
So now for the subjectively bad stuff. Everything takes just a little longer than it should on a $700 laptop. I’m not talking about heavy-duty stuff like video editing or CAD rendering, or cryptocurrency mining.

Unlike the keys, the touchpad is generously sized relative to the whole keyboard, and it tracks very nicely.
