I tend to dive deeper into the camera section of review, but there is no need here — this camera is horrible!

Microsoft is selling two different models of the Surface Go, priced at $399 and $549. Inside the $399 model, a "Kaby Lake" Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y processor runs the show, along with the CPU-integrated Intel HD Graphics 615, 4GB of main system memory, and 64GB of eMMC flash memory for storage. Our review unit is the more expensive version, which offers the same processor, but accompanied by 8GB of memory and a 128GB SSD.

Within the healthcare and medical industry, springs can be found in devices as diverse as x-ray machines, bed lift mechanisms, and drug infusers.  There are a multitude of different types of springs to accommodate the myriad of applications.  While some springs dampen force and perform a pushing action, others oppose extension by pulling themselves back together.

I’m glad they’re trying new things too but it’s still way overpriced and setup to fail almost intentionally. Not even Microsoft is truly committed to Windows On ARM. Their Surface Go is further evidence of their lack of commitment to WoA. As Brad mentioned, you can get a comparably priced Surface device that has more features across the board including LTE support in some models and battery life that’s close enough to these devices. That’s just the more premium Surface devices, I’m sure there are OEM devices that also offer everything this has to offer but cheaper. Also there will be an LTE version of the Surface Go soon too. The Game Boy’s portability was a major part of its success, but we doubt Nintendo thought it could be this portable. In 1993, Aleksandr Serebrov took his Game Boy with him into space. He was on his way to the Mir space station and wanted something to do in his off time. Because of weight issues, Serebrov could only take one game. He chose Tetris, an appropriate game for the place and time. His Game Boy spent 196 days in space and orbited the Earth over 3000 times. It and Serebrov’s copy of Tetris were later sold at auction for $1220.

To confuse matters even more, Microsoft has had a different program, called "paid supplemental servicing," for Windows 10. Evidence of that deal, a one-year-and-done paid support plan for Windows 10′s feature upgrades, has been scrubbed from the Microsoft’s page where it had been touted in February. The omission or demise of paid supplemental servicing was probably due to Microsoft lengthening support for each fall’s feature upgrade from 18 to 30 months.

This release is probably one of the cleanest Android installs we’ve seen that wasn’t an official Google Nexus or Pixel-branded device, and only the camera app demonstrated any significant customization from the stock tools.

At the preview event I went to before we received a review unit, Microsoft showed me some examples of educational applications that may be employed in the classroom. These ranged from Mandarin-teaching tools (students would trace the characters with the Surface Pen) to apps with detailed 3D models of the human head. I can see scenarios where these would be useful for a classroom of students—or just for an individual child—and while iOS and Android have their own options, Windows 10 or 10 S is a fleshed-out ecosystem that can also be readily used for productivity work.

The 13in screen is bigger than you’ll find on the Surface Pro and the Eve V, and that makes it easier to use solo as a laptop. The screen itself is pin-sharp, colourful and just about bright enough to use outdoors. Movies look great on it, with good viewing angles, and while the bezels around the outside are quite large, they accommodate two front-facing speakers, a fingerprint scanner and a Windows Hello-enabled IR face recognition system.

“Adoption is widespread and increasing, and the amount of access to the data and how it’s being used has made a leap,” Stubbs says. “Data comes from so many disparate systems, and now there’s business intelligence and analytics that can take all that data, whether scanning, voice, automation or sensors on machinery, and roll up that critical data into a system that allows people to use information better and more efficiently.”
